Less than two days from now, and the Photobooth Launch Party will be underway! To say I'm a little stressed is a slight understatement. With the "day job" work demands, I've been too busy to truly test as much as I want to. The printer works beautifully, and the software is pretty much spot on. All I really need to do is spend all night tomorrow tweaking and getting everything just so. In the mean time...
Tonight is odd-job central. The Velcro that needs to be on some of the curtain straps has to be put on, I'm setting up the website for the first booth uploads from the party this weekend, I'm getting fliers made up to print out, I'm designing a little banner for the bottom of the strips once the booth is running Saturday. Oh, and The Wife and I are talking over food and drink, and we're just going bonkers trying to keep it all straight.
The upside: the closer the booth gets to "reality," the more excited I get about it! There is so much hard work that has gone into the booth from so many people, and I can't thank them enough. The booth being something I can finally sell is the first step to not letting anyone down!
In other news, I've got two weddings already this year - on back-to-back weekends! - and this booth has it's first booking (I think, should find out Saturday). I finally got my product shoot done with my giant Reese's Cups, I just have to find the time for the photos to be processed (I'm hoping Sunday). I've got a few more ideas for food-themed shoots. We'll see how much time frees up once the booth preparations are done.
Photos from the party should be up next week. Can't wait to start booking; let me know if you're in the market for a Photobooth!
